Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
So how does that Spyder ride? I've never seen one on the road yet.

Great photos!!
When I rode a spider back at the delaer show I couldn't for the life of me get a wheel off the ground.

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
I've managed to get a wheel off the ground maybe an inch and that was only for a split second, the throttle shuts off so fast it corrects your mistake and you are back in business... this was turning off a main road at a Y onto another road that had some rough bumps at about 70 mph.

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
Soooo.... "Overall" which toy is more fun, the RZR or the Spyder?
I'm sure they both have their pro's and con's... but which one if you had to pick, puts the biggest smile in your face?

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
The RZR for the simple fact my son can drive the RZR while we are off road as well.
The Spider is ultra cool for traveling the rodes of America BUT for just tearing it up, not worrying about rolling, scratching etc. and being able to mod it any which way you like the RZR just sits in a class by its lonesome.

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
Only reason I ask... is because I really wanted a Spyder a few months back... and the wife literally said "Choose your toy... RZR or Spyder, but not both.." lol
So after much thought and consideration, I thought that the wife and I both would have more fun together on the RZR. She LOVES it, and has a blast every time we ride, so it seems like it was a good choice.
I just really sometimes wonder if I made the right choice. The only thing is, that my wife would have been worried sick about me if I bought the Spyder, but with the RZR she doesn't really even think about me getting hurt.

You made the right choice if you could only get one toy right now.
Pay off the RZR and THEN get the SPYDER! You will both love that too.
Your wife can rest easy about the safety of the SPYDER since it has antilock brakes, Traction control, & Stability control. Add that to the large frontal area so you can be seen by oncoming drivers.
It is undoubtedly the safest motorcycle available today.

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
How old are you guys with the Spyders?
I'm 25... and it just seems that mostly "older" guys ride them, and I'm worried that people will call it a tricycle... lol
I have a few friends that ride sport bikes, and I'm sure I'd get a LOAD of guff if I bought one... but I really don't care! I'd rather be safe, and have fun doing it. Plus, it would mostly be used commuting to and from work, so i could use the carpool lane.

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
I'll tell you this much. It is quick enough that all of my sport bike riding buddies give it plenty of respect. You can roast the back tire right off of it.
Every biker that has ever seen it just drools over it.
It has the same engine as the Aprila Sport bike from Italy.
To answer your question, I'm 33 going on 10.

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
I thoroughly enjoy both, but ya, If i had to pick one vs. the other, I would prolly take the RZR...there's nothing like having my little girl all strapped in holding the passenger grab bar and saying "are you ready?" its priceless heh (she is two btw). I'm 31 going on 13 as well heh. As far as the spyder and respect, all you gotta do when those sport bikes get behind you or even the Harley's, rev it up and smoke them out, they will give you the thumbs up. heh heh...

Re: Misc RZR & Spyder pics
Awesome... I'm 25, but if you asked my wife she'd say the same thing... I'm still 12-years old at heart, and love ANYTHING with a motor attached to it...
I had no idea so many RZR owners also had Sypders!!
