Re: A few pics of my '09 Orange LE

Thank you guys. I saw your videos on youtube of you riding in the snow.

Looked like fun.
I have been to Hatfield McCoy's back when I had a Outlander Max.
I think I will be going to Royal blue in April to see what they are like.
Maybe I will get up your way later this summer. I need a windshield right now.

Re: A few pics of my '09 Orange LE

I rode Royal Blue for 4 days and IMO and others that have rode both places the Wagon Wheel area in West Va is much better and free that's what we ride 90% of the time.I paid $108.00 to ride Royal Blue that's to much but have fun and join us in West Va sometime.

Looking good, Just a word of caution with that lock and ride box, Don't load it very heavy and go down steep hills. It will cause you to be back heavy and tends to tip over.

A bit off topic but what do you think about your Kolpin rear box? Like/dislike-enough room?Etc!

Makes sense. But Im not that aggressive of a rider.

Its not a box you want to use to haul around tools in, like a bow saw or a fox hole shovel like I have in the past. Since it is divided into 3 compartments you are limited in space, especially overall length.
Due to it being insulated the walls are thick, less room inside.

Basically I would say its more a eye candy box made for food and drinks, not utility.

Now, if you have a L&R cab like I do, you better be prepared to cut the hell out of it to make it fit.
Kolpin does NOT say it will fit with these cabs so trust me, IT WILL NOT!

In fact I told them and they said they make a smaller box which I have yet to find.

So I had to take a reciprocating saw and grinder to mine. Yes $400 cut to hell. I have pics of the surgery.

Re: A few pics of my '09 Orange LE

I finally installed the cab and a windshield today to see how it all fit.
I bought this windshield yesterday for $75. And I also have a Kolpin tilt windshield for summer.

Re: A few pics of my '09 Orange LE

Thank you.

Well now that I have the doors mounted I can see areas needing improving. So I am making some changes, one being the way the door catch mounts to the shoulder bars.
I knew the way the metal stuck out it would inflict a gash in your back getting in and out, so I sawed it and reversed the tube mount.
