Steve - Makin Trax - "Not for the faint of heart Ride" - Long, fast, whooped, tight trails and not a lot of stopping. We will cover lots of miles and burn some fuel. Did I forget Fun Fun Fun!!!!!

Here's a list of some of the rides available ,we will also be doing a Glamis dune ride one day .....

Imperial Sand Dunes, 36 square miles are accessible with a short ATV ride on your ATV on a rarely traveled ATV trail.

2.The Bradshaw Trail, a short ride to a trail that will take you all the way to the Colorado River through some awesome canyons and mountains.
3.Beal Well, only 26 miles.
4.Salvation Mountain, a quick 17 mile ride.
5.Glamis Sand Dunes, just 28 miles on your ATV.
6.The Bat Caves, a must to see only and 18 mile round trip for the family.
7.The Pinnacles, you will be impressed, and it is only 26 miles if you do not explore the side trails.
8.The Old Miner Cabin, a 4 to 5 hour ride into breath taking Desert Mountains.
9.The Praying Lady, 66 miles round trip with so much to explore along the way,
10. Chiriaco Summit, 70 miles of desert wonder to explore.
11.The Oasis, see a very rare species fish and trees that grow side-ways. A 14 mile ride from you campsite.
12.Salt Creek Wash is a great day ride.

Rides 2 thru 7 & 11 can they be combined to make a day ride. We like all day rides.

What do people think about a GPS Team Scavenger Hunt. We could set it up so Teams could be formed with friends and/or persons of similar riding habits and skills. Maybe 5 to 8 UTV's per team. First destinations will be different for each team. All the information needed to find your destinations will be in a packet handed to the team at the start line drivers meeting. Your next destinations and info will be in a packet at each destination. We could organize it so everyone could meet at the Trestle for lunch together. Then off to each teams last couple destinations. Then back to Cabin #51 for Happy Hour and some Bench Racing.

I think it would be a fun way to spend a day. It will give everyone an opportunity to ride at their own Groups pace. Crossing paths throughout the day with other groups and getting to see a lot of the area and points of interest along the way. Of course we should have at least one person in each group with area knowledge so we don't have people lost out there. What do you guys think?

Maybe you and I could go out in early March and scout out the GPS Coordinates for the entry to trails and necessary turns.

Don't think we need anyone taking the Spicoli Cutoff.
