Beware in Mexico
In case you missed the latest Fishers ATV world they took a 1000 mile trip to Mexico. They started out with a really trick looking Ranger and Rhino.
I thought it was odd that Brian never mentioned the guide, he usually does at the beginning of one of the trips.
About half way there the guide literally abandoned them in the middle of nowhere and took the UTVs with him.
So they had to hire truck to haul them to a town where they could catch a train. They hop the train only to find out the train only takes cash, which they don't have. 13hrs and an police escorted trip to the ATM later they are in a real town and hopping a plane home.
Moral of the story seems to be hire a reputable guide. Fisher described his as "bipolar".

Re: Beware in Mexico
It's called a GUN. They will not tell you this but that is the usual MO fo Mexico. If you get caught carring a gun over the border be prepared to spend alot of time in Mexico's prison system.

Re: Beware in Mexico
Well it was just practicalities I was wondering about:
1 guy + 1 gun = 1 driver.
2UTVs - 1 driver = 1 UTV stolen.

Re: Beware in Mexico
I believe most guides have an assistant to help with all the grunt.
