Re: Black Hills UTV Rally

Helmets are strongly recommended. The media (magazines and such) willbe there and if your picture would be taken and no helmet the picture will not be published in the magazine. Helmets are required in the events in the evening.(Mud bog, obstacle course, tug of war, etc.)

I went past Top 50 rally park last night and got a sneak peak at the obstacle course and it looks MEAN and HARD. Should be a blast to watch.
Mud bog will be in the same area and will be challenging! Mud bog won't be worked on till after obstacle event is over so can't see it yet.

What are people going to try?

Re: Black Hills UTV Rally

I thought it was great, had lots of fun and won a couple prizes, too
Heard one guy missed a corner went down a hill and through some barbed wire (ouch) Saw his arm and it was really scratched up, and said he got like 19 stitches. Thats a ride he won't soon forget.

What did you tthink of the rally?

Re: Black Hills UTV Rally

Sucks they put it on Labor day weekend. Deadwood was so slammed and with some of our staff going to college there was no way I could get it off. Although my old man didn't wanna go to bad anyway because of all the dust...

Re: Black Hills UTV Rally

It was pretty fun, our group of 6 machines only rode on a guided ride one day and that was enough. Way too much dust!!! (too slow and easy as well, cant blame the rally for that though) On Sunday we rode from Peidmont to Deadwood all on trails, 125 miles that day. We rode right down main street Deadwood and people were going crazy, it was a blast.
