CAW is good to ride for motor cross tracks, trails are ok. I will email you when we go there next. Also you can go north on hwy 18 to 181 north to brown mtn, very good for rock crawling, this is mostly where I ride, have season pass and it is only 1.5 hour away from me! Like to meet up some time at either places!!

If you like rock crawling you should try Uharrie- the trails are some of the toughest around-- Its near Denton,nc right off Hwy 49 0n hwy 109.

Re: want to ride near sc

no--If you go on their web site you can print a map of the trails -all trails are two way and you have -dirtbikes/atv/ jeeps/trucks and custom built rockcrawlers-they have mud bogs and if you like you can camp overnight. There are designated parking and camping areas, it will cost you 5.00 per day per vehicle-not per person. But as most people say that have riden there--if you can ride at Uharrie you can ride -anywhere--its rough on equiptment. FYI-go early the parking areas will be full.

Re: want to ride near sc

I ride at Uwharrie all the time and it is TOUGH. We usually park at the Wolf's Den trailhead and go from there. Ron is right, need to get there early because it can get crowded. I don't usually have any trouble because I get there around 6 or 7am. That way I'm done around lunch and can head out to the Eldorado Outpost and eat some lunch on the way home. Let me know when you guys want to go and I'll be there

We're going to Brimstone 10/3-10/5or 10/6. If anybody wants to go let me know. We usually camp out at the trailhead. Good trails and lots of them! Brimstone backs up to Windrock/Coal Creek.
