Any one rode in these area's? Oregon coast area is getting a bit wet for these old fossil bones. Have a new RZR-s and a 43 foot toy hauler and want to spend next winter in the Quartzsite area. Anyone know good rv park(s) where you can ride out into the dessert or old mines right from the rv park? :ride:

I have been down there a few times. Its a big city there this time of year. What I did when I knew nothing about the area was I just went down there and camped on blm land and drove rzr all around there. There plenty of room there to roam around. May-be just go down there and wing-it like I did. You will meet some really great folks that will teach you the ropes. I will be there next Winter.

Here's probably the most helpful tip for you ...........

Register your RzR in Arizona - Cost is 33.50 with the Off-Road sticker. Plus your Insurance. Somewhere around 200 +- a year.

In this way - No matter what RV park you stay at - You can run the Streets to get to where you want to go riding. Works for me - I'm in Havasu .. I like it far better here than that area.

Enjoy .........

Better yet become a volunteer and stay the winter free at Arizona State Parks. I think it only takes 20 hours a week and you get a free ride for 6 months (space, electric, water, and sewage). Try Alamo State parks. Lots of snowbirds take advantage of Arizona tax payers and get a free ride. Join the crowd! So many volunteers that the volunteers are taking care of the volunteers! :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
