Re: Socal nite ride?

Absolutely! Like I said, I've always wanted to do that... so I'm up for it 100%, as long as I'm not working!

I have the HID's in my RZR... but if I start doing this kind of thing more often, I'll have to get more serious with my lighting!

Are you thinking of making camping overnight part of it, or just a night ride, and returning the same evening?

Re: Socal nite ride?

thinkin of leaving at sundown, maybe 4to6hr loop, gettin back in the am.thinkin sat nite.if its a smaller group.i dont mind if we stage at my place and roll from here,we live on a dead end dirt road, and have plenty of room for people to pich a tent to crash in when we get back,or everone could meet at miller canyon staging area off hywy 138 and split from there.also there is a camp ground at lake siverwood(about 5/10mins away),you can pich a tent,or roll a fifthwheel in there the only problem is you cant ride from that camp ground.also there is crab flats camp/staging that you can ride from, but its a little more remote.anywho just some ideas thanks mike

Mike,
Shouldn't you be thinking about your trailing arms first...J.K.

Re: Socal nite ride?

I'm all excited now... I love stuff like this!

Although it's just in the "idea" phase... what time, or month were you thinking?

Re: Socal nite ride?

the easy spot would be silver wood, you can get a medium sized tow,or fifth wheel into crab flats, but its 15to20 mins down a graded fire road with 1 shallow stream crossing(6"to12" deep) but i have seen many rvs in there, the camp host has a decent size fifthwheel in there.so silverwood paved, crabflats dirt but at flats you feel like your deep in the forrest, kinda nice in my opinion
