Anybody in Reno/Lake Tahoe/Sacramento area want to ride?
Just wanted to see if anyone near Reno, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, and Sacramento want to get together for a ride this weekend or anytime in the future! I still haven't met any RZR riders out on the trails that are on the forum!

I usually ride the Johnson Lane area in Minden, NV and the Pine Nut Mountains near Leviathan Mine over the California border, but I'd like to check out some new places too. It'd take years to explore all the trails in the area, so I'm always up to try new ones! Where are you located?

I live in Lincoln, would like to check out some of the riding in NV , and also Boca Lake area on the Cal-Nv border looks fun lots of Mt peaks to explore, maybe in a couple weeks we could check out some place.
I agree, Boca looks like a cool area to explore. I've heard there's a few places on the west side of Lake Tahoe too. Let me know when you want to ride and we can meet up.
Auburn Powersports is putting on a ride this weekend Friday Saturday Sunday moon rocks outside of sparks Nevada lookIng about 30 riders mostly Rzrs should be a good time check it out on Facebook for more info
We ride a lot (when it snows) at the end of hirshdale rd. up around Verdi peak. Its a great area and I will post next time we go. There is about 5 rzrs and a couple of arctic cats that go. We bring tow straps so the cats can keep up.
That sounds great and looks like an awesome area. Everyone, please post in this thread when you want to ride. It looks like we've got quite a few people in the area that want to meet up!

We did the Rubicon last weekend, had to do a lot of tree trimming due to the high winds the days before but was a blast.
Had a few guys back out because of the cold :rofl3:
What kind of puss would back out because its cold. Haha hey are you going to be at your Tahoe house . Come up to SM Sunday or Monday . Ben going to stay with me .we can put a woopen on that apex
For those that are interested, we'll be doing a ride Sunday the 1st.
Little Washoe Lake to Virginia City for lunch, then return. It's ~50 miles total, which is a lot shorter than our usual of 80 miles, mostly because of the early sunset of 1635.
Had an incredible weekend of riding and met some great people from the region! Spent two days at Moon Rocks (north of Reno) and Sunday riding from Washoe Valley to Virginia City. Thanks to everyone who welcomed me for the rides and I'm looking forward to getting more forum members in the area together soon! :ride:
We were blessed with the opportunity to ride with Eric this last weekend, and had unseasonably great weather, too. What a great ride!
Eric is a joy to ride with; always with a ready smile, and willing to try anything.
Our ride started at 1030 in the morning, and wound our way up to historic Virginia City, site of the 1860's silver boom. We stopped to sightsee at the current gold mining operation, then drove into town (as long as you're polite, they tolerate RZRs on the city streets) for lunch at Café Del Rio.
After filling our stomachs, we rode out north to a panoramic "70 mile view" over the Dayton valley, and worked our way home via steep ridgelines and snowy trails.
Thanks for the recap James! It was an awesome ride with some beautiful but incredibly challenging terrain. Looks like the next one will have a whole lot more snow to contend with too!
I wish I would have seen this post earlier. I was in Virginia City that day and saw everyone go by on their RZRs. I would have much rather went on the ride then drive my tuck up.
Next time you guys go keep me in mind, I'd love to go.

How the hell did I miss out on this ride! Looks similar to our Reno ride we did into Virginia city. Dang it, keep me posted to the next ride in this area
