Which lights for trail riding?

Im wanting to know which light bar is the best for trail riding . I have a 2012 XP and the head lights are good but i want more light . I was thinking of a 25" bar or a 32" bar . Does anybody have any suggestions? I'd appreciate any help.

Re: Which lights for trail riding?

If you are talking about brand, Rigid is all I run. If you are talking about type or pattern you will probably get as many opinions as there are members. For me, depending on your vehicle I would run a 30" Led with the combo flood spot, this retails for $999.99. The outer ends have a flood pattern to see wide and the center is a driving/spot pattern for high speed and distance. A less expensive way would be 2 Dually D2 led driving pattern, this package retails for $379.99. Both options come with a wiring harness, relay and switch.

The prices I listed are the manufacture retail prices. You can call any Rigid dealer for pricing, and I would suggest checking with a bunch of them before making a purchase. As dealers we limited to the prices we can advertise at, but the bottom line is we can sell for what we want, or can afford.

I hope this helps.

I do not have a light bar, so I can't say which one is the best. But, they are pricey. I have experimented with a variety of lights from other machines, with little success. If you want the best bang for you buck, this is my opinion. I traded up to 35W 6000K HID's from the factory halogens. Best move ever! Kit from BMP was $75.00. Then I added Super ATV 4.5" euro beam LED's ($124) on the SATV light bar ($29) that mounts in the grill. Over 1000 night time miles, and all is good!

I would love to have a rigid bar but can't justify spending that much more since I'm on a tight budget.
