PIAA 525 Lamps

Anybody use these yet?
I scored a killer deal on a set, FREE.
I don't have the wiring harness, switches or relays but it looks like they can be wired without the missing items.
My question,does anybody know if you can run the spot and flood beam at the same time?

Re: PIAA 525 Lamps

I installed a set of the Hella black magic's on mine. I had a set laying around left over from a truck build. Anyways I only used about half of the wiring harness pieces as some were not really needed in this application. So you should be fine just wire them direct like any other lights. Just put a fuse on the pos lead. I'm sure you knew that though.

Re: PIAA 525 Lamps

I ran the wires;
Blue "glow" lamps when the marker lamps are on.
I used a double pole double throw switch and I'm using that for the 80 degree floods and 15 degree pencil beams.
If I find I can run them at the same time, I'll wire the switch accordingly.
I really like those black magics and was looking for Hella's until I came by this deal, I just couldn't seem to turn it down.
