totron vs rigid

i was checking out the totron led light bars. they seem like a well constructed light and have a comparable amount of light compared to the rigid. does anybody have the totron? have any problems? any good any bad? they are more than half the cost of a rigid.

Re: totron vs rigid

Ahhh, looks like the exact chinese knock-off for the Rigid lights, no thanks. I would rather spend a bit more and get a light that I know will work year after year and if I should ever have any problems will be backed up with a good warranty. Keep it made in the USA (within reason...)

Furthermore, tempered glass for the lens?? And those optics look like crap, bet you not as bright as the SR Rigid although it does say "10800 lumen flux", I call BS on that claim.

Re: totron vs rigid

Not sure if it matters but My Rigid I bought in 07 just had a section of it go out. This was last Wednesday, and I left for Glamis on Thursday. I paid close to 1500 for it when it was new and the only thing on the market. I called Rigid up telling them the situation and you know what they told me? "Come on down and we will swap it out with a new one for you." 2 Hrs later i had a new bar mounted and ready for my trip with only the price of my gas to drive down there.

Good luck getting that kind of service from anyone else almost 5 years after the purchase. Its because of that service I will be buying some D2's to add to my A-Pillars to see better when transitioning the dunes at night.

Just my 2-pennys.

Re: totron vs rigid

i have never had any issues with either of the totron bars i have used. the first one was a 6'' dual row totron bar and was submerged almost every time i rode and pressure washed afterwards with no issues. the 30'' single row cree bar on my rzr has not been submerged but gets pressure washed after each ride and is still going strong. if i have any problems with the totron bar i would get a rigid after hearing about their warranty and standing behind their products and they do look to be better built and stronger than the totron bars. Not that the totron bar isn't durable, but I had to try out this totron single row 30'' first for $179 bucks.

The Rigid Lights quality is amazing.... But it's the lifetime warranty and customer service that keeps us selling their products!

Rigid is a GREAT company to deal with!

PM for pricing....
