Our kit includes everything needed for installation. Speakers, pods, amp, amp wiring kit, and our No Radio Needed iPod input kit. Simply plug the iPod into the weather resistant jack and contol the volume fron the knob on the dash, all powered by a 2ch 500watt peak amplifier.

How do you deal with waterproofing your CD player? I put in a marine deck and it no longer works after we washed our RZR?

Re: Stereo Ideas/help

We don't use em. for the cost and the ammount of power they output, it's not worth it. iPod/MP3 player pugs into our jack then runs to a dashmounted volume knob, then to an amp.

Re: Stereo Ideas/help

update. My husband and I went with Trevor's system. SSVWorks...awesome system, couldn't be happier. No problems...installing wasn't bad at all. Had one question and Trevor took our late night phone call. You would not be disappointed.....

Re: Stereo Ideas/help

I'm not trying to hi-jack your thread, just save you a little money. I built an overhead console for myself, but ended up with 20 of them. I have sold a couple and everyone is very happy with how it works. It is made from aluminum and fits all stock cages. You can cut holes where ever you want to install radio, speakers or whatever. Here is a photo of mine with off road radio, gps, intercom, and switches. I am adding satalite radio this sunday. The other photo is how the other 20 are sold. I have them listed on ebay for $75 bucks. Again sorry if I hi jacked your thread, I would like to move these out of my trailer, and save you money.

Re: Stereo Ideas/help

That actually looks pretty cool. My husband sort of did the same thing, but went under the dash with it. Not as big, but a smaller version. Very cool....

Re: Stereo Ideas/help

Rick.....................Your set up sounds good. The Pyle amp you put in....how much did that run you? I'm looking to do the same type of setup...just amp, speakers and ipod but I dont want to put too much money into the amp.

The amp was 100 bucks. My setup was about 400 total, but it is very loud.
