Dual audio circuit

I want to build a small box that has two 1/8" stereo inputs and one 1/8" stereo output. I want to plug an mp3 player in to one and the audio from a frs radio in the other with the output going to an amp. I am guessing that I need to run some sort of diode so that the audio from one doesn't back feed in to the other. I need one of you electronic gurus to tell me what I need in the circuit.

Thanks

Re: Dual audio circuit

The box you would want to make would have a stereo "pot" (potentiometer or rheostat) with a radio input on each "end" of the resistor and the moving tap would go to the amp. This would work like a balance pot that would adjust the relative volume of each input. The FRS is mono (usually) so that input would run to both pots so you get sound from both speakers.
