OTRATTW 7 pin. Winch Switch Wiring Advise.

I am in he process of wiring up this switch and wanted to see if my plan is correct. I have read every previous thread but think I got more confused. So I apologize to the members if this has been fully covered. Here is my plan

Pin 2 - connect to 12v ignition source
Pin 1 - to contractor 12v in
Pin 3 - to contractor 12v out

Is this how to connect Pins 1-3?

The pins for the upper and lower lights I am not sure how too wire them. Can I jump 7 and 9 and then to a common ground? And would I jump 8 and 2. And then jump 10 and 2. Thanks for your help.

Re: OTRATTW 7 pin. Winch Switch Wiring Advise.

Your plan for pins 1-3 and pins 7 and 9 sounds good. Depending on how you want the switch to light up will determine how to wire pins 8 and 10. If you jump 8 and 10 to pin 2, then both lights will be on anytime the key is on. Is this what you are wanting? Thats how I would wire it for a winch myself.

Re: OTRATTW 7 pin. Winch Switch Wiring Advise.

Thanks for the info. I guess it make sense to have to light on for a Winch Switch. Thanks for the advise.
