Amp in front storage spot!
Does anyone have their amp in the front storage spot under the hood? I've seen a few pics with the amp in there. It looks like it would get hot and there isn't much room.... I was thinking of getting the maier hood because that scoop would let some air in there I think...

Cranked the system for a straight 6 hours on a trail ride last month at the Moab UTV Rally with no issues at all. This is a digital amp though.

Agreed.
This RZR is used 100% at Glamis, except for our trip to Maob. So I guess it more like 99.9% Glamis UTV

Re: Amp in front storage spot!
I go deep but this seems the best spot for an amp... Im gonna get a marine grade one and its cheap if I fry it I'll buy another, you gotta pay to play.

Re: Amp in front storage spot!
I took my small Sony amp apart and used circuit board potting compound to seal up the board and then sealed all connections as well. I thought about the front storage as well, but I know how much water can show up there, so I mounted it under the dash.
