Any portable stereos?

I know I would like a sound system in my RZR. I am not yet committed to the whole works, for various reasons. Have any of you found a portable type system with good sound? I have a Pioneer XM small receiver I could use with some integrated system. Or more permanent speakers could be installed with a portable amp. Any ideas? Thanks.
