Antenna Mount

I am getting ready to install a rugged radio into my 09 rzr and was wondering what would be the best mount for the antenna. If anyone has any pics or links to sites where I can get one it would be appreciated.

Re: Antenna Mount

Here is how I did mine. I have not touched it since the day I installed it. I have gotten clear communication over five miles on flat land.

Re: Antenna Mount

Ace,
I was hoping to get help from someone with vast levels of experience and knowledge, however I have learned from instances in the past not to hold my breath. For example, I used to have a F-250 diesel that needed brakes. I asked the person with vast amounts of experience and knowledge to take me under his wing and show me how to change the brakes. To make a long story short, I wound up having to sell the truck because I could never get anyone to help me with the brakes. Then there was this time we were bringing a 16 foot 2x4 home in a hyundai accent...the story involves a shattered windshield...but that is for another time.....but to be honest, I am counting on him this time....put a good word in for me if you see him

Re: Antenna Mount

Wow a 16 foot piece of lumber in a Hyundai Accent.
isn't that longer than the whole car? I'll give that guy a call. The last time I talked to him he was still cleaning a stain from a 64 oz diet soda that was on the passenger side of his brand new truck. He could probably get it done this week since he isn't going to Glamis this weekend.
