Re: communication system
communication! I give my wife a kiss and anything else she wants to do when she sitting next to me. as for the other people on the trail i just flip them the bird and shake my head no hammer down and let them know that there not number one anymore. Not true i carry two hummer two way radio's that clip to the roll bar above our heads. If the person im riding with dont have one i let them use one of mine.

Collett Electronics - Helmet Communication
I use these for snowmobiling and they are great. They have an option that you can use to have a private conversation with your passenger as well as communicate with others on the trail.

Re: communication system
I went to Sampson Racing Radios and purchased the Avcom 502 intercom. You can get the Ho500 headset and a cable to connect your frs radio up to the intercom. It is a fantastic set up. You can talk to the passanger with no background noise, then use the push to talk button on the side of the headset to talk on the frs radio. Everyone that has ridden with me loves the set up. I now have 5 other friends that have gone to this same set up. You can upgrade to the AR510 if you want to plug in your Ipod. Good luck.
