how far from sacramento?

how far from sacramento?

live an hour north of sac and wondering if it was closer than sand mountain which takes about 3 hours

I think he is asking which is closer, glamis or sand mountain. i would think sand mountain.

I'm in Elk Grove. Takes me 4.5 hours to get to Sand Mt. and about 11 to get to Glamis.

We've been doing a Jan. trip to Glamis for the last 5+ years. It isn't hot that time of the year but, warm enough to let the bones thaw out enough to help us make it through the rest of winter.

It's about 115 down there right now. Season doesn't start until early Nov. Just too hot!
