Is anyone riding there rzr's in the snow? I am getting one for X-Mass. I would like to go trail riding in the winter with it. Well and it's not summer right now.

Re: Snow riding the rzr.

I just rode mine last night in about 4". It was a blast climbing hills covered in snow. Just watch out if you are inexperienced sliding the rear around in the snow can lead to a tip over if you aren't careful

I ride alot in the snow lots of fun. Just watch for things u cant see under the snow. Rocks and stuff like that. Like said above its easy to fish tail so get a feel for ur traction before u go all out. Also watch u dont drive in snow frame deep or more. Ive gotten stuck before. Had to winch myself out

I am new to the rzr, but snowmobiled for 15 years. So I am used to riding. Now with the rzr I can ride anytime. Does anyone trail ride in the snow?

We got 16" in total of snow. RZR's, and atv's are not allowed where I live to ride on the trails, it's mostly Snowmobiles. Till the snow is gone then we can ride ATV/UTV's.

Re: Snow riding the rzr.

RZR will do great in the snow-I plow /play on my property all winter! Wish we could ride trails in MN in the winter but the snowmobilers still have a monopoly in this state. Hoping to make a few trips on the WI corridor outside of Superior this winter since the lawmakers there are smart enought to realize how much more revenue is brought in by allowing the trails to be shared during the winter!

Re: Snow riding the rzr.

Totally winter-worthy! I have had my RZR in as much as 3 feet of snow. Any more than that and its gets buried quickly. Its basicly when the snow starts coming over the hood that you have to worry. I needed a tow out on that day. I had BigHorns on. If you want to get any idea of how much those tires DIG then take them out in the snow. Not a "floatation" tire in snow haha.
