The " DO NOT DO" list for Rzr owners

So over the last year or so, since I've been on this forum, one thing that I've tried to keep track of are things NOT to do with your Rzr. So I thought I'd start a list, so some of the more experienced drivers could add to it as we go, and for us more novice drivers, we can be in the know of things that could cause damage to the Rzr.

1. On hard paved roads, do not drive with "all wheels" engaged, I hear you can get some front dif lock ups from this.
2.
3.
4.

Lets keep this going, I would like to create a list of things that could harm my rig.

Thanks,
DevilDoc Junior

2) K & N filter- DON'T

Not about driving style or treatment but will damage your motor in time.

What if you have the parking break?

My experience is when you put it in park and it lurches back a little, it sits on your gear and makes it very hard to put it back into gear.

#4) do not reverse hard while in AWD, especially if you are trying to turn...make it straight as possible.

5. run shocks too stiff. you can/will break an A -arm.
6. cut your wheels all the way left or right while in AWD under load. you can break an axle/CV.

#5 don't give in to the temptation to do doughnuts in your RZR. 9 times out of 10 they result in a rollover.

Re: The " DO NOT DO" list for Rzr owners

do not buy a RZR on EBay using your wife's company ebay name, not tell her, drive across (3) states to get it, pay the guy cash instead of paypal, hide it for a couple weeks not telling her, and at work she gets a Ebay notice saying unpaid item. Cause she will pull it up on her screen and see it.

Re: The " DO NOT DO" list for Rzr owners

Why all the downing of a K & N air cleaner. If you wash it and oil it properly it works great! Ben running them for years and have no problems. Is there any documented test showing anyones claim of a K & N aircleaner NOT working as good as any other leading brand?
