Aluminum Odyssey 925 battery box for gen1

I was going to do the stock Ranger plastic battery box to run the Odyssey 925 battery in my gen1 as it is already known to work just fine but apparently some Ranger owners have had issues with them breaking over time so found an aluminum one on eBay. Spoke with the seller and was great to work with and even made me a top bracket so would not have to use the stock bracket. It weighs almost nothing and is a nice piece. It fits like a glove. Used the custom top bracket with a 3/8in nylon spacer and 1 1/4in long x 20 x 1/4 bolt on each side to mount it to the frame in the stock gen1 threaded holes with some locktite. Might need to open up the mounting holes in the aluminum box or top bracket to get it to line up with the stock holes but that is very easily done with a drill. Here are some pics:

If anyone can comment on if this box works with gen2 or gen3 would be great.

i like the ATR bracket. it has a cushion on the underside so the vibrashon doesnt wreck the battery.

It is DJDIRTWORKS on eBay.
His email is djfab@frontiernet.net

No problems with it at all. I would not worry about vibrations with an Odyssey ... that is what you pay the extra for as designed to take it but of course any cushion is nice too but never heard of anyone killing an Odyssey.

Glad to hear is still around and offering these ... he is a great guy. It was actually rediculous how much help he gave me for a product that cost so little and could be much more expensive ... not sure how he makes a profit.
