my rzr frame reinforcement

well i finally cut some pieces out and installed some .083 wall tubing in the stock .065 wall's place. and then added some plate and gussetts to reinforce the motormounts.

this all started when i noticed my drivers side motormount tearing off the frame and the bottom of the tubing it was welded to had a huge dent in it. also my crossmember was bent upwards.

now i have to replace the forward crossmember. then reinstall the motor, remove front diff and see why it is not working all of the time, reinstall the steering rack. then off to Weller Racing for a dyno tune.

bent crossmember

stock on right and replacement on left

junk cleared out and ready for new

drivers side replaced

passenger side beefed up

Heck yeah. To bad it ain't like that from the factory! U might as well beef up the front and rear suspension areas as well. And gusset weak areas.

i have beefed up everything. added the Lonestar gusset kit along with tons of extra plating and tubing everywhere.

i have tools and am not afraid to use them. my time is free and metal is fairly cheap.

How much did the .083 cost you? I have a feeling i'll be doing the same thing to my rzr...

ok finally done with the forward crossmember and filling in the rear a-arm tab holes and re-drilling due to some slop in the holes.

now thats done i can reinstall the motor, trans and diff tomorrow. then wait for some replacement bolts and bushings i ordered. and then pick up my Gorilla axles from UPS due to a COD tag Gorilla sent me for warranty work. FUCK!! gorilla axles
