Let them drive?

I voted "maybe" because it all depends on how fat thier wallet is! If you can't afford one or don't have the money to fix it you can't drive it!

These are some expensive toys ranging from about $12.000 - $40.000 depending on upgrades, so I was just Curious on how others handled this situation? I'm in the maybe category, because some of my friends and family may say if I break it I'll fix it but don't have the means to do so, I also have mine insured to the max as well, but not looking to make a claim if I don't have to.

I feel for ya Bloody Bill. What are relatives for if not to chit on ya. If I let someone drive my stuff then I turn into a nervous ninny. If they break it, they fix it, but you know how that goes. I just don't have the cash. If I did, then I wouldn't care so much.

I hear you on that one, Probably if mine wasn't such a low budget RZR, I'd feel different but seeing as how it's on the lower end of the scale pricewise, , I don't worry too much. Like I said, my friends don't ask. I guess it comes back to the fact that most of them ride Harleys and that's one thing you never do is ask to ride someone's bike. That and at my age, (57) and the ages of most of my friends, we have a lot more respect for other's investments.

Scenario: you are hangin out at camp after riding and too tired to run up to the store for beverages. You'd rather hand a twenty and your keys to someone. Who would you trust to make a beverage run?

It depends on if I think they can afford to fix it. Then I warn them if you wreck it, it could cost you thousands of dollars to fix. Most people are off limits.lol I also have insurance just in case.
