Re: Rzr Wont Start!?!

You need to give us more info. What have you already tried? Is the gas tank empty, if your relying on the gauge maybe its broke, take off the gas cap (if you haven't already) and look inside. List everything you have tried.

Re: Rzr Wont Start!?!

Crank, Spark, Fuel. You have crank.
What do you have and what don't you have.
When you key up do you hear the fuel pump run for a couple seconds?
Have you unplugged and replugged connectors?
Have you checked your battery for good tight connections
and the chassis grounds?
Check your fuel box for blown fuses.
Did you add some fuel for laughs and giggles?
Check your air filter?
There are some starting points, OK?

Re: Rzr Wont Start!?!

check and see if feul filter is clogged. this has happened to a couple of rzrs before. Some plastic from the new tank can clog up the lines. also are you pushing your foot down on the brake peddle when you start?

If you don't have it yet, try here

This is for a 08 but lots of good answers in there!
It's likely something simple, .........foot is on the brake, right?

Re: Rzr Wont Start!?!

I mat be wrong but the only fuel filters I know of are inside the fuel tank and being a week old I'd leave that pain to the dealer!

Re: Rzr Wont Start!?!

That is in the tank, do not go there, that be a dealer thing to do.
You could take a fuel fitting loose to check for fuel flow but that would be getting ahead of the game.
All seems to be fine, state what you did.
I deal with this stuff all the time with students, they did everything and it won't work.
I go over and find the obvious.
You may as well learn to remove the bed, it is your best bet for finding out what is wrong.
Think of it as foreplay, getting into the mood, you will be doing this forever as long as you own this creature.
There are some posts of how to do it but simply having at it will be the best teacher. Takes 10 minutes with a drink, others are faster but nice guys finish last. My wife likes that.
Anyway, after you have removed the bed(hope you do not have a rear bumper on yet) check for spark, have a tester? No? Just hold the boot to engine metal=ground and crank, got spark? Y?N? If N,remember those connectors to check... follow back to the coils and do that open and shut thing to them. If Y pull a plug and see if it is wet and soggy or really black, clean them if so, but before putting them back in blow out the cylinders first with compressed air. This is so you avoid having someone throw water on your fire as you put a match to it. Don't really mean to be a jerk as I go through these machinations, like I said I deal with students and this is how it goes. Fine put back the plugs and give it a rip.
No again? Now take a connector off of a fuel injector and with a test light to ground check for one the wires being 12 positve the light will glow if so. IF not check the fuse box ECM fuse or fuel pump, actually check them all. Then place the test light lead on one wire and the other end on the other wire and crank the motor it may be a glow and off, not real bright, but blinking, noid lights are best otherwise a #194 bulb from you car will work too(dashlight or such, cig ashray bulb).
Don't get to carried away doing stuff or the Dealer may say you caused the problem, keep that in mind.
Sorry if this came off as talking down too, not meant to be, just having a bit of fun along the way.
Good Luck, Hope you get it going.
