The Sport With 2 Names
So i'm tired of having to call my RZR by 2 diffrent names UTV and sidexside.When will one name prevail?what do you guys and gals think about it?

I call mine a sidexside because it fits the rzr better than utv. To me a utv is more of a ranger.

Good luck with that!
The manufacturers also muddy the water by allowing their marketing departments to create clever new names (or classes) for their new products. That way they can claim they are the #1 UTV/RTV/SXS/RUV/whatever...

Definitely prefer side-by-side. It is much more descriptive, especially when talking to people that are not familiar with the ATV market. Most of the people I meet have never seen a RZR before, and UTV is so....blah...and RUV sucks.

I find that people better understand the concept of a utv if you call it a sidexside. I hate all the new names the manufacturers are coming up with. So annoying.

My kids called mine a cart because we used to have a golf cart. That is until they rode in it the first time. They've never called it a cart since.....the first ride cleared up the difference.
