without a doubt use 4-5 drops of red loctite on each stud on vehicle going into spacer (not spacer to tires). i've had them come loose, and so has everyone else i ride with. i use an impact wrench to remove or install.

I definitely loctite them if they were at 40 ft-lbs.

The spacers look perfect. It was a very easy install. I did use the loctite. Looks to be very good quality spacers, I can't wait to try them out. Thanks UTVCRAP....

Re: Torque Setting For 2" Wheel Spacers?

The UTV shop in my area said to torque the spacers to the hubs @ 65 FtLbs and to loctite them, which I did. They said to take the wheel studs to 55FtLbs but be sure to step up the torque. I always go 35, 45 and then to 55lbs. I had a lug spin on me a while back at the step between 35 & 45 lub so I am always nervous when tightening. UTV totally took care of me when I had that problem. Thanks a million again guys! You saved my Halloween trip! I really think there was a buggered up thread or something... It went too easy after the first step and then wouldnt back off and it was the first time they had been installed. Do business with a reputable shop and you can rest assured.
Maybe now I'll back down to 40 per UTV's recommendations!

I'm don't remember the name of the guy I talked to on the phone at UTVCRAP, but he assured me that they have a lifetime guarantee on the spacers. That's the main reason I purchased my spacers from UTVCRAP instead of eBay. I truely trust these guys. I will be purchasing an exhaust from them next, as soon as i get some money saved up.
