09 throttle body boot
Has anyone replaced there 08 boot with the new 09 boot that has the bellows, without replacing the throttlebody with the new lip on it? I want to make sure it doesnt slip off without the lip before i buy the new boot. If so, anyone know the part #?

Re: 09 throttle body boot
I did it on mine, but the dealer installed it, so I didnt get to see it. I also put the 09 lid on the air box with the 3rd clip. Seems fine so far.

Re: 09 throttle body boot
I replaced my boot, just clean the surfaces of the boot and throttle body with brakleen and mount wet.
Also I replaced the crappy clamps with good ones.
The 09 filter lid went on also with the new filter.
Do a search over on PRC for part numbers or have the dealer do their job and find them, cost for both was about 40 bucks.

Re: 09 throttle body boot
I had not thought about replacing the lid with the new 3 clip one, but thats a great idea.

Re: 09 throttle body boot
I changed out mine and I changed out the hose clamps to wider ones. It fits on tighter than the original boot did. Part of the problem with the original boot was the skinny hose clamp, on mine it would push the boot off of the throttle body when I tightened it, that was the first thing I got rid of. After installing the new boot and clamps I tried to pull it off and it stayed in place.
The part # on the invoice is 5413581, price $21.75 total.
