my vote - not too smart
the RZR has a very loose chassis. It twists, bends, tweeks, racks....you pick the word. The door gap changes constantly as depending on what you drive over. Hell, even where and how you park for that matter.

It is very hard to design a SIMPLE door and please everyone You think people complain about common doors opening wait till that gets a review.

Whoever thought of that was on a computer screen. Not in the field.
If I'm wrong so be it.

Re: gull wing doors

Looks cool but how in the heck do I get out once inside my trailer?

That's the great thing about them. You just stay in the machine until the next ride. Always at the ready that way.

Re: gull wing doors

I would prefer to see them in person before I bought but initial thought was I liked them. I think with my trailer they would work fine. Ohe wait guess I better get an xp first. When the heck is that damn xp4 coming out?

Re: gull wing doors

in all fairness to those guys at MMA, or one guy if thats the case, they seem to try and fab some unusual one-off stuff. The website shows what I would describe as the kind of cool stuff you see at Sema and wonder who ever buys it. Wish I had customers come in with open wallets wanting custom unusual. So good luck to them at that.

As far as the doors the video never shows him actually using the latch, just the door lifting. Maybe it was a protoype working out the bugs. That's fair. Not gonna fault them for that.

A good test video of those doors would be him at the drive-up of a WhataBurger getting the wrong order.

Re: gull wing doors

thinkin they changed something overnight - when you look at their other fab stuff they know about little things like door gaps

There is a frame there for windows so it wouldn't be too hard to close it in.

Re: gull wing doors

Sorry that the videos had been removed. When they were edited it removes them.
I read some of the comments that have been made- WELL proof is in the ride. Took a machine with the doors (RZR4) to Moab and climbed the Rocks andRaced up and down the trails. Following week took to Glamis and raced in the sand. Doors performed great and needed no adjustments. You would have to be over 7' tall to bang your head when doors are fully open. Going to video getting in and out of machine when parked in a trailer. Again worked just fine. Any other questions or concerns please post. Lots of design time went into these. They really are Sweet! Thanks! M&M
