Guys

I'm telling you straight up that the Razor with tracks will climb ridiculously steep hills. Way steeper then a sled will at the same speed. My previous experience with tracks is that they make the machine into a real mini Tank. Where the tracks lack is performance. I will never give up riding mt sled for a razor/ranger/atv with tracks. But as a back up in the winter we use our atv when we really want to go tanking around the back woods! They are simply unstoppable in the snow!

YAH WHAT HE SAYS IM NOT GIVING UP MY 150 HP SLED BUT ON SHITY DAYS TOO DAM COLD OR LOW SNOW IM STILL OUT THERE I CAN ALSO RIDE RIGHT FROM MY FRONT YARD THE MAIN SLED TRAIL IS 800 FT FROM MY DRIVEWAY IM NOT PUTTING MY RZR AWAY 35 MPH IS STILL BETTER THAN NOT RIDING ALL WINTER PLUS THE COOLNESS FACTOR :hihi:

I also own an 08 RZR with the prospector tracks. I have not ever used them yet, but I am very excited to run it in the snow. I was also told that they were unstoppable. I was also told that they will eat up the drive belt fast if your hard on the throttle. Some recommend a clutch upgrade, but say that its not really necessary. I guess I will find out.

I have both. My plow is the smallest plow and I have plenty of clearance, I dont see where a larger plow would make any difference unless your plowing with the blade at a tight angle, but even then it still should clear because mine does. I dont recommend plowing with tracks on concrete or pavement because it will wear the tracks down faster.:welcome1:

You are saying 23" clearance that is a substantial increas over stock. Wow you sure as hell don't have 23" clearance with 26" tires even with a 2" lift and the shocks cranked up. Anyone ever taken these rock crawling and what is it like. I go some places in spring where there are huge snow drifts but there are also some technical areas with a few rocks I need to get over. They are short but quite technical. It this would give me a little more clearance plus get me over the snow it just got even more enticing.

Well I have the polaris prospector pro-s on my RZR and we just got some serious snow here in utah (supposedly the best snow on earth) I am gonna go run my RZR in the snow real soon and I will let you all know how well it did, I have some very high expectations because of what I have been told. We will see if the stories are true. My RZR has never let me down yet, I dont expect that it will this time either. I live in the heart of the Rockies and my RZR has claimed a few moutain tops here very easily so I am betting that it performs fantastic. More to come.. Enjoy!

I live up in Riverdale, which is in the Ogden area. 30 miles north of Salt Lake City. I have already used my plow, I love it, it works great. And like I said I am very excited to use my tracks. I work at Hill Air Force Base as a federal employee, I also work part time at Autozone and Autozone pays me extra to plow their parking lot with my RZR, it works fantastic. Everyone loves to watch me plow the parking lot, I dont think its the actual plowing that they love watching but more of just watching my RZR run around the parking lot wishing that they had one to play with. I plan on running it up on top of Monte Cristo Christmas weekend, which is a very hot snowmobiling mountain spot. Workin on making some memories and stories to add to the booty. Like I said before, He who has the most stories wins because he is the one who has enjoyed life more. Enjoy..

Hey KC how fast the po po dealer say it will go with tracks? Or how fast have you had it with tracks? I was at the dealer today they said it should go 50 with tracks. Im not sure I'm biten on that one. In the video polaris has on their website they claim the 800 wheelre hits 50. 4000grand is what he told me for tracks. I know the Tatou 4s are alittle cheaper. How do they turn with tracks is the steering heavy?

I wish I could answer those questions cause that would mean that I had allready ran my RZR with the tracks, but truth is, I havent. I intend to do it really soon, probably christmas weekend. I will let you know how she runs. I was told the same as you before I bought my tracks. I will let you all know the truth as soon as I run her. By the way I paid $3150.00 for my Polaris Prospector Pro Tracks, sounds like the dealer there is looking to bank off of you, shop around.
