I keep forgetting to take a pic with it loaded.
Looks nice, but wondering do you have an 8' box, mine is a 6'6" box ext cab.
It's an F350 with a 8' box. I doubt it would be safe on a short bed due to it sticking out about a foot over the end of my bed. I really wouldn't want to use it on anything less than a 3/4 ton truck either.

Re: Loading my RZR plus hauling my Travel Trailer

I think what it all boils down to is...if you're going to do RZRing and want to use a camping trailer....then you have to make the sacrifices and get the equipment to do it right...truck, trailer and the RZR.

Otherwise you put your family, the public and yourself in grave danger. Its not worth it.

If you have to pull the camp trailer with the 1/2 ton truck, and your wife or significant other has to pull the RZR on anothe trailer...then do that...safely!

A "culture of safety" what we all need to be living!!!

Re: Loading my RZR plus hauling my Travel Trailer

If you are going to put the RZR in the bed of your truck, check this out DG Manufacturing Home Page. Safe and easy to install. They even have "short bars" that allow your tailgate to only be open part way securely. Anyone that puts a heavy load in the bed of their truck needs these.

Thanks.
the deck i have came with an 11 foot ramp that clips onto either side of the deck. i have air bags on my pickup to take the lean away but other than that cruising at highway speeds is not a problem. i had too extend the hitch on my trailer so it does not hit my deck when i turn sharp, but if you were only going to haul one rzr your deck could be shorter and probably not have to worry about it. if you would like more pics i could find some for you or any measurements. thanks!

Thanks for the info re:deck, anyways just wondering if you had time to dig out a few measurements, I have a chance to buy a deck, and I may have to make some mods. The deck you have does it just have attachments that slip into you stake pockets on the back of your truck, also what size engine do you have in your truck. I have a 5.3 Vortec GMC ext cab 6'5' box, and my trailer is a 26' Jayco 5900GVW...usely running 4600 with the trailer as the tanks are normally empty. If I start this project now I may be able to go with everything by summer. Anyways hope your havin fun with the RZR, wifey hounding me to get this project underway.

Thanks,
Bryan.

Brad777. Do you know what the weight is on your setup. Just wondering if you have put it on a scale.

Re: Loading my RZR plus hauling my Travel Trailer

I built this. The XP is too wide and too long for my Long bed F250.

Now I can fit the XP or an XP 4 in the bed of my truck and still take the toy hauler with me.
