66" or 72" plow

So we're bringing our 66" version of the Motoalliance county plow to market in two weeks or less (heading for paint on Thursday.) Wanted to let you know they are just about ready......and I also have a question.

We sell a ton of 72" plows for the largest Ranger vehicles, but seems like the 66" might prove a good fit for RZR's as they are a bit smaller. I know we already have 12 of the 66" plows on back-order and we weren't even pre-selling them (except for one of our dealers who got a little ansy. )

We are sending just 50 of them to paint while we break into the production line to run 200 more of the 72" plows since these have been going so quickly.

We're scheduled to pick up with 66" plows again after this. Trying to decide how many to build since this is our first year with them. Any thoughts as to whether you'd prefer 66" or 72" systems for your RZR's would be appreciated.

Re: 66" or 72" plow

When you angle the 66" will it be wide enough to clear a path for the tires on an S or XP? That might be something to consider.

Re: 66" or 72" plow

Give us a call GSCUDDER. I think 1-2 more 66" blades sold today so far....so it'd be good to get one in line for when the 36 come back from paint next week.

We extended our lift-arms by 4" longer than standard systems like Eagle, so there should be no clearance issues for any model side-by-side. We haven't heard of any tire rub since we did this last year.

Hope that helps!

I don't mean interference between the plow and the tires. I mean does the angled blade clear a path in the snow wide enough so that the tires on an S or XP are "inside" the cleared path and not fighting their way through un-plowed snow.

Re: 66" or 72" plow

Peter: I am one of your 66" pre-orders. I park my std RZR 800 in an enclosed trailer and 66 is the only option that would work from a width and length perspective. I also ordered the hydraulic mount. Please let us know how the actuator switch mounts and what it looks like.

Re: 66" or 72" plow

I just put the 72" on my 2011 rzr with my EMP winch bumper and viper elite 4500 winch. That plow is a monster and should move a lot of snow, we shall see. Very good plow and well built.

Re: 66" or 72" plow

Thanks for the feedback on the plow. We did try to build a beastly unit. That was the goal when we met as an engineering team, so it's good to hear.

Will post pictures of the switch tomorrow, IDA.....
