Wants to buy a RZR in germany.
Hello guys,
I want to buy a RZR in germany and I have many question abbout it.
Are there differences betwen the 2008 or the 2009 RZR.
I read from Problems with Air Intake ( What can I do again nthis ?)
It well be a streetlegal RZR, so I will drive on the street and in the mud.
What should I do buy an 2008 or 2009, I love the RZR S.
I can buy the RZR S without any things like, brushgards, winch, Skirt Plate, exhaust ........ an buy it any weeks later one after one ....You know???

Re: Wants to buy a RZR in germany.
If the offroad trails that you drive on are wide enought to fit the RZR S, I would get it. The increased width and ground clearance along with the Fox shocks will make a big difference on the street and dirt. The "S" roll cage is also a big improvement over the standard RZR.
Either way I would get a 2009 model because of the stronger frame and the relocated voltage regulator.
As far as the airbox problems go, simply purchase the BTI / Dragonfire airbox along with a Holz engine air vent kit. Problem solved!
Yes, I would get the RZR first and the accessories later (except for the airbox - get that first!). Take the RZR out and get a feel for it, then come back and buy the add-on parts that you need. That's part of the fun!
Here are some helpful links..Viel Gluck!

Re: Wants to buy a RZR in germany.
Are you going to take it on the Autobahn ... LOL
I was just over in Berlin and had to pass your ... inspection (terif? ..turf?) ... to drive the car we built on the streets/autobahn. The inspector was wanted to drive the car ... man he drove it like he stole it! It was very funny!! I like how your cars have to pass this inspection every ...2 years?.... keeps the rags of the streets. The f-n check everything!! And of coarse we had no turn signals ... it was a chalnge to get turn signals on!
I have a "S" ... it really is alot of fun!! Do they come street legal over there ...or you making it?

Re: Wants to buy a RZR in germany.
The german headquarter of Polaris , delievers the ATvīs and RZrīs only streetlegal, because in germany are not many territories to drive legal with an Atv or sidebyside. You get problems with law if a hunter see you driving throug his forest.

Re: Wants to buy a RZR in germany.
Something to look out for, I was talking to the dealer here in France and it looks like there's still 08 style Rzr's for sale in Europe. This is because Polaris ship a whole load from the US to Italy (where they are fitted with all the equipment to make them road-legal) and from there they are transported round Europe. Obviously to keep costs down they ship a huge number over in one go and then just work their way through the batch.
BUT this means that there's a time delay in any new features coming through. So unless you really can get a RZR S which will of course be an 09, there's a chance that you could well get an 08 model.
