Re: best to worse MOD

A mirror is a great mod to the RZR. I lucked out when I found out about Vic's Lights website. $20 or so. quick shipping. The mirror is 5 mirrors in one mount. It mounts across the width of the RZR. I think you can find the same mirror at an auto parts stores for cheaper but Vic puts it into a kit ready to fit the RZR.

Worst mod: I swapped the rims and tires with my 06 Sportsman 800 for the more aggressive tire tread. In the sand I can't keep the air in the tire. I don't know if it's the tire width versus the rim width, or I'm cornering too tight cause I break a bead at least once a day while camping. The sportsman doesn't have a sway bar so bending the tire and breaking the bead while cornering involved almost tipping over.

Look about half way down the page. These things take out 99% of that sloppy steering wheel play. The install is pretty easy to

Re: best to worse MOD

Best - cyclone air box - Polaris rear view mirror (it eventually goes loose, but any mirror that allows you to see behind you without cranking your neck) - any GPS (I run Garmin Zumo) - gas can holder - Hard Top Roof (blocks the sun) - Holtz Front Bumper - TerraCross's on SS212's (better traction)

Worst - none

It works great *with* power steering, lol.

The HPD kits really do take the slop out though-very nice.

Best: Holz Cage, UMP Filter, Lone Star rear brace, itp wheels, good year tires
Worst: Polaris Gun Rack
I was going to list the lock and ride gas rack as my worst but i recently found that holz is now selling gas cans that actually fit in the lock and ride. I bought one got it and it kicks ass.

Re: best to worse MOD

I haven't done too much yet, but I guess the best is the Polaris hard top roof and my HID's.

Worst is the Polaris gun rack...

However, I just got new Terracross 26" tires on ITP 14" rims...I took it down the street and it seems a bit slower on the top end but I wanted them for better performance in the sand. Did I make a mistake or are they worth it????? =) They rub a bit up front on the floor board corners.

Anyone have advice for a fix other than long travel or a lift?
