Getting a quieter ride......
Some forum advice I have received is to use DYNAMAT to quiet my 2011 RZR. Have any of the forum members successfully used this product and if so, to what level were you able to quiet the ride. Thanks

Just curious as to what your'e trying to quiet down?
If it were body piece rattling I would think your'e onto something that will work.

I just bought the RZR and it is close to unbearably loud. sitting next to my wife driving down the road at approximately 25 mph we can't hear each other. I bought another muffler that is supposed to reduce the noise some, but i am suspecting not enough. actually trying to find anyway to get it to acceptable noise levels. not sure of exactly where the noise is coming from, but i suspect a combination of the muffler and the engine itself..

Maybe you need to look into something like this. It goes on the normal exhaust and seems to make a big difference. Look at the video at the 1 minute mark and they do a good before and after sound bit.

If you don't have a full cab I don't see your ride getting any quieter. Although I don't think the RZR is loud at all to begin with.

you dont think the rzr is loud? makes me curious as to whether or not something may be wrong with mine. if my wife and i head down a snow covered road at 25 mph we can't hear each other over the noise. is yours quieter than that? mine is a 2011 800 EFI/EPS Orange madness.

??? its an UTV... not a car. You can always get head sets. Dyna mat is going to do zero for the RZR. Dynamat is used to "insulate and seal" interiors of vehicles.
Is it rattling, engine noise, or just the exhaust?

Is your rzr snorkeld? That can make one a lot louder depending on where the tubes are routed.

My 11 sounds exactly like the one in the video, so if your's is louder than that I don't know what else you have going on. I could see where the dynamat might be useful on the fire wall behind the seats, but imo there is just to much open space to quiet, other than your muffler.
