The survey was 1st about my RZR 4, its likes and dislikes. Then it asked about a 50" single seat high performance 4x4 machine. It showed a pic of a single seater much like the Redline Revolt. It asked if I would be interested in a machine much like the RZR but w/a single seater. I think that would be a awesome. Has anyone else gotten this survey? It also asked what would be the ideal cc. It gave several options, I Choose 500 -1000cc. It also said If it was offered for $3000 less than a std RZR would I buy. Hmmm.. whats Popo up to.

I did not get anything from them, but it sounds great sounds like the old odyssey, just needs a 1000 in it what a rocket ship that would be

I got it...I said i wasn't interested in something like that..I wrote bad idea
You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but given your negativity toward Polaris in general, I start to question your motives. Of course, in this instance, you wouldn't want one for yourself, but why is it a bad idea?

Sounds pretty awesome to me. We were just discussing at work the other day why none of the major manufacturers hadn't done something like this. I could see a whole new racing class coming from something like this.

I think its a great idea, The revolt is fun but just needs some refinement, If Polaris could do it, I think they would have a winner :)

What an evolution.
We went from a single seat ATV to a 2 seat RZR, that wasn’t enough we had to add a back seat.
That wasn’t big enough so we got the RZR 4.
Now we want to go back to a single seat?
Might be cool though.

Too bad they didn't send out a survey asking

"Should we build our new plant in mexico or build it in the USA?"

Polaris is selling out just like all the other manufacturers. All they want is every penny of profit they can get. Never mind that there are people here in the US that needed those jobs. Scott "Whiner" can KMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't pi.. on him if he was on fire. Maybe when he dies they will send his body to mexico.

Good old populist drivel. It's called stifling corporate tax and companies go where they're not punished for doing business and I don't blame them. If you have a problem, stop blaming business, blame the government that strangles them. I couldn't run my business on the bottom line profit margins that these evil corporations do. As though companies striving to succeed(making profit) is a bad thing. Do you think they want to move operations out of country or do you think they'd prefer to stay put, hire americans and not be strangled by every ridiculous tax imaginable?

i always hated it when i wanted to ride alone and somebody hit me with these words, "is anybody riding with you? i'll just ride with you if thats ok".......200lbs later the hard and fast ride wasn't so hard and fast. a single seater would definitely solve that. of course, being a 50" single seater, why not change the seat to a saddle and the steering wheels to handle bars? a single seat 50" rzr is not much more than an atv with a windshield.

You know what solves that.....I remove the passenger seat before I arrive at the site :ride: There's no way I'm hauling around 200lbs next to me unless it's planned in advance, which like you has happened more than once.

BUT.......if the said passenger turns out to be a 115lb female approximately 20 years old, the seat is promptly pulled from the back of my truck and reinstalled, which has happened. I claim it just got "repaired".

^^^agreed. Thats why I just bought a Polaris Sportsman 850 XP w/EPS. However, had they offered it in a single seater sit down version I would have gone that way.

Government is the issue. It is sad to see so many people critical of businesses trying to make money. Making money is the reason investors put their capital at risk.

Keep in mind that Polaris is a publicly traded corporation that you can invest in if you choose. The board and upper management have to make money for the owners... the stock holders. Given the current political environment, moving jobs overseas makes sense. Polaris has Obamacare to look forward to. They are see the debt crisis and the threat of increased taxation. Our government has created a very unfriendly business environment and that is why jobs are going elsewhere and will continue to do so.

So, the liberals will just continue to spread their hate and jealousy of the profitable. And, those with products and ideas will run to other countries, and you will wonder why there are no manufacturing jobs in the US. Good F'n grief.

I forgot to mention this, the survey also asked about a tranny that was mounted to the steering column and used a shifter paddle to go between gears and w/out having to stop to change from H-L. It sounds like Popo is listening.

Re: Got a Survey fm Polaris asking my opinions about a single seat high performance 4

well my crazy idea was for popo to make a 50" rzr two seater that can convert to a one seater by taking the passenger seat out...reposition the drivers seat and steering and pedals to the center of the buggy via some lever gadget so you could have the best of both worlds, a one or two seater...and yes before you ask i do take meds...lol

Your idea isn't all wacko. The current Unimog is set up this way. I know it is not a utv but could work the same.

I would say mid size one seater RZR with let say 300 -400 cc engine could sell good for older kids to big for 170. But not sure , if full size one seater will be popular . IMHO

I really like the idea of a 50 inch, 14+ inch suspension, single seater, 900 ProStar engine, with carrying capacity in the rear. Where do I sign? I'll keep the RZR S for my wife and friends. haha
