The oil dipstick is stuck and will not come out. Dont want to pull to hard on it. What can cause this to be stuck?

Re: Oil Dipstick is stuck

The dipstick is just held in the tube by a simple cam action expansion type grommet, try pushing straight in on the handle after you have lifted it then try twisting...just a thought

Re: Oil Dipstick is stuck

I have tried both above and nothing. Will not spin or anything. It feels like the metal peace of the dipstick is hung up on something.

try and spray some lube on it and try working it up...down and side to side the rubber part is most likely stuck to the side of the tube

Re: Oil Dipstick is stuck

I had to file down the plastic plunger to get mine to stop hanging up.
I have seen this on a couple RZRs.

Re: Oil Dipstick is stuck

I can get the plastic plunger out about maybe 1/2-3/4 of an inch then it stops.
