I've been told that I have a lot of miles for the time I've had my rig. It's a 2017 XP1K with 2000 miles and 129.5 hours as of today 5/11/2017. I purchased it on 12/3/2016, about 5 months ago. Is this a lot for something we all want to ride ALL THE TIME!?

How many miles/ hours on your rig and how old?

Yeah, I'm very lucky in that regard. My house basically boarders the Tonto National Forest with 100's and 100's of really fun trails. It's nice just to run out of the house anytime I want, hence the high mileage.

6200 miles - 367 hours - 16.8 avg mph on my 2013 570LE.

Most of that was during the first 3 years. In the last 8 months I have only ridden about 300 miles, as work got in the way.

Maintenance is key. I work at a john Deere dealership and we have gators that show up with 3000 hrs and over 15-20,000 miles with normal maintenance. Most are from fencebuilding and checking cattle. To me If they can make it that long Polaris should get close with good maintenance.

I too am lucky, I can ride about a mile of road and hit a trail head. From there I can hit a few different trail systems.

I wish more people didn't think 10,000 miles was a lot. I just sold my 14 1kxp with 6500 mile and 297 hours. Ran good and didn't use any oil. I sold to buy new because it's hard to sell with lots of miles. And it with the current rebate and my voucher, the upgrade wasn't too Pain full.

It's easy to do over 100 miles a day in the west. As long as you not in the dunes all the day the clutches and engine are really not getting worked all that hard.

Over 1200 miles and 157 hours on my 2013 rzr 4 800.. I ride mostly trails in the mountains... Very hard on the machine though as i needed 2 outer tie rod ends, one broken rear axle, both rear wheel bearings and the rack and pinion. Oh and the front diff plate was cracked... Other than that and the carrier bearing she's been good to me!
