Water hole

Got into a water hole this weekend. The belt was slipping at first, after I got out. Went away after I got on some dry land and cruised at a low speed. Should I be worried. How about anything else?

Thanks.

there is a little red drain screw on your drive belt housing just for that draining out water
i,d take the drive belt cover off and inspect and clean out any mud dirt

Was it just water or a deep mud hole where you were struggled to get out? I had that issue when spinning a bunch when stuck. It wasn't water it was overheating the belt. I removed the drain plug and nothing came out. Think I just got the belt hot spinning the tires.

Re: Water hole

Just water. I pulled the plug later. Nothing came out. The seal was dry also around the screw. Think a little may have got down the air hose.

Depending on where your vent hoses are located on the front and rear diffs, I would remove the fill plugs to each diff and check to see if any water made it in there. If so, drain and refill with fresh fluids.
