Re: Is there an intake fix???! Sick to my stomach!

gdog,

You read my BBB thread and I hope you filed. If enough people file maybe you will be able to get one courtesy of Polaris!

Has anybody bought one of these units to see if it really works.

No offense to Dragon fire but I would like to talk to people that have tested these!

Re: Is there an intake fix???! Sick to my stomach!

DF can send me one to test out...and I praise them for all their worth if it does what they say it will.

I have not filed with the BBB yet. My dealer (a friend) told me to see what is released with the 09's and if its a new system that he will get it setup on my machine to see if it works. I don't have high hopes for that happening.

So...by tomorrow this time...we'll know if they have made any changes that will actually do something...if not...then I am game on....

This is what I've been ranting about elsewhere. Snorkels do NOT fix the problem--but they do help a whole lot! Depending on the trail conditions you regularly ride in the cleaner air being fed to your filter might keep you from ever finding dust on the TB. Personally after a day riding in a constant cloud of silt I still got dust past my snorkled filter. WAY better than stock--but it's truly not fixed.

I think there are a few people here who have one already, they're just not speaking up because they no longer feel the need to read intake threads!

How about this (sorry, on another forum):
