hows this for add-ons for my new RZR?

this is my list for MUST HAVES that i want right away, is there anything else i really need. i know i dont have a aftermarket filter setup on there but im going to let that play out and see for myself whats going on.

im in Colorado and do a TON of rock crawling at VERY slow speeds.

2 year extended warranty !
FactoryUTV UHMW skids
High Lifter springs
Viper Max Winch
26" or 25" BIGHORNS, i already have the 25's and im still trying to figure out if the stock 26's will fit the stock wheels?

please feel free to add must haves, but i want to keep the add-ons below $1k for now.

I don't know about the springs, but the best improvement I made was the Rubberdown 2" lift and oh yeah...the $1.99 sponge behind the throttle. If you do the lift you'll have to get spacers or new wheels.

- The stock rubber does not hold up on the rocks. I’ve been through three tires in six months.

- I put these skid plates on,,, they're great, they provide a ton of coverage.
Polaris RZR Skid Plate System

- Cargo Box is a must, (you need a place for the adult soda’s)

- The wife bought me the Shoulder bag that goes between the two seats and surprisingly I get a lot of use out it.

- And of course brush guards if you’re going to spend anytime in the woods.

I agree -a must is the -Rock Sliders-I probably purchased around 3,000. in add ons at the dealership including skid plates but I think the sliders are a must-just my two cents-everybodys got to do there own thing personalizing their RZR

IMHO the "rock sliders" from Holz will hang up a lot less since they are considerably tighter to the body.

Rubberdown 2in lift to keep from hitting every rock on the trail.

What does that do to the center of gravity of the machine? Does it make it more likely to tip? I’m worried about the machine getting top heavy.

Use wheel spacers to widen the stance.

I thought of doing that but where I ride there are major trail restrictions. There are all kinds of gates that prevent access to machines wider then 51 inches.

I just use rear wheel offsets all the way around. You woukd not want the stock offset or it would be tippy.

Oh and I think cv boot protectors should be a must for all 4x4. I thought a mirror was a must on my first ride. Looking back with a seat belt on isn't the easiest.
