Soft Tops?

Have decided I want a soft top for the rzr. Which one would you guys recomend? I have been looking at the Pro Armor and it looks like it would be a pretty good one. Do you have to drill the holes for snaps into youe cage? Does it flap around in the wind? What would be the best soft top?

Sorry to say it but he's right. I suppose if your just out in dunes or something mild like that it would last but if you trail ride forget it

The solid top is where it's at

Trees to a soft top is like a fat guy to a cheap pair of rain pants

Re: Soft Tops?

We have one and its works fine. We ride in the desert. We found it on ebay. one of the cheaper ones. It has velcrow straps at the roll bar and then it attaches to the bolts in the lower portion of the roll cage. No flapping and no problems as of yet. We will probably change to hard top later just for looks.

Re: Soft Tops?

I have a soft top from polaris. We love it, comes off in seconds and will roll up to put in the storage trunk. As for rips, we are fortunate to live close to a gal that sews and she will repair for 5 to 10 dollars. Sometimes it nice to have the option of going topless

Re: Soft Tops?

I have a soft top that fits over the rear cage and seat so it's extra long. It's a canvas material and it's strong, i've had lots of tree branches go across it and it's still perfect. It doesn't flap at all either, lots of anchor points. It's made locally to match the cage so I couldn't tell ya the brand, but I bought it from the dealer.

the fact that it covers the back too sounds like a nice feature. i always ran the long bikini tops on my jeeps that did the same thing and have been looking for something similar for the rzr. any way you could get more info on it? does it have any tags or markings?

thanks

Re: Soft Tops?

I just bought one from ebay (a cheap one, $47 I think) but I am happy with it. My intention isn't to trail ride heavy with it; as soon as I get thick in the bush, I can roll it up and put it away.

Mine mounts via a snap on each front bar (easily drilled and screwed in) and then 2 straps at the rear bars.

Re: Soft Tops?

BEST TOP HAS THERE SUPERTOP.
I have one for my Jeep and it's taken
everything I've thrown at it. (7 years and counting)
Not sure on the price, there are only
acouple places that sale them. I haven't
price them because I fear they'll cost $$$$
No drilling needed to install.
What's nice about this top is the doors can be
used as either a half door or full door. They
come with a windshield that has Dot approved
safety glass.
If there anything like my top for the Jeep
you'll be able to use the top as a bikini top.
With or without the windows also.
There a great setup for all around use.
Just go to BEST Top.com/UTV
or just go to Best Top and look under UTV
section.

Re: Soft Tops?

I got the Polaris soft top when I got my RZR. Lasted 90 days before it ripped at the spot where it velcros to the bar. Caused by flapping while riding.....Worst money spent. I got the Moose roof for $115 and love it.

I should also meantion that it has zippers and Velcro to attach it, there was no drilling. I'll look at it later today and see if there's any markings at all, but I don't recall any. I have a rear cage and seat for mine, that's the part it goes over, it doesn't wrap down behind you. I'll post a pic later when I get home.

I always used the Bestops when I had my Jeep too, and I loved them. The bikini top is on eBay for $68 with $10 shipping. Not bad. I think I will be ordering it.
