Duners or Mudders

Is this forum just for "duners"? I thought it was for all RZR owners, but I keep getting duners replying to threads that have nothing to do with their type of riding. I don't reply to their posts, because I have no experience in their type of riding.

I have found that there are all types of riders here from Mud, Rock, Sand, and Open desert. Maybe the forum should setup a seperate Mudders section.

Re: Duners or Mudders

i think a sand and non-sand group would be better.

First off I am a dunes kinda guy so I'm not sure if I am allowed to reply to this... But I just looked at your last few posts and can't figure out why you're really that bent outta shape? I think a lot of the questions and responses are general relating to power and upgrades... not mud or sand. But I think you answered your own question when you said it was for all RZR owners.

Re: Duners or Mudders

He is probably talking about this thread: http://www.rzrforums.net/suspension/...rzr-rzr-s.html

I thought he was asking about long travel, but I guess it was a lift question....

Sorry if I missunderstood what you were asking. I hope you found the answers you were looking for.

No, your answer was fine. I'm talking about my "For Sale" ad for my Grizzly 700.

Re: Duners or Mudders

I think its for everybody no matter what they choose to ride in or on. I've gained great info on this forum. Much of the info you get concering the RZR can be used in any riding area. Take the intake/airfilter info. for example. A good many duners install snorkles to keep their air intakes cleaner, Mud guys do the same thing to keep their intakes dry. Same concept. I'm more of a woods trail riding kind of guy, but want to snorkle my intakes for the same reason the dune guys do AND for the same reason the mud guys do. I hit very dusty trails then turn around and sink into a mud hole or river crossing. The info talked about here, as well as the products advertised here, helps everyone! I think we have enough sub-catagories now. I vote not to break up into different groups. Kinda defeats the purpose of the forum.

Re: Dunners or Mudders

i live in the upstate of SC so we don`t have much sand around here.
i wish we did though i like the fact that you can go ride all day in the sand and not get your ride that dirty.
i can leave my house and with in 3 minutes have mud all over my rzr.

mudders or dunners regardless. i have received Alot of useful information from this site over the years...and i hope i have given some.. lol,,,.thanks to all ..mudd

Re: Duners or Mudders

ya'll are missing the point. I had people making comments about me having a mudding bike for sale on here. I know this is a RZR forum and I'm trying to sell a Yamaha, but I figured what the heck, it couldn't hurt to advertise in here too. I don't personally care what environment you ride in, just as long as you ride.

Re: Duners or Mudders

I use my Rzr for both sand and mud, and trail, and rock and anything else I run across Why does there have to be a separation between them? I think as long as your having fun with your Rzr, who gives a damn how you use it
