Park Lock
I have an idea for a park lock for the RZR. This unit makes the transmission locked in park with a padlock and would discourage someone from trying to steal or unauthorized use. I think this could be marketed at about $25.00
Is this something that you would want to see in the market place?

Re: Park Lock
Sounds like a great idea, I saw something like that in St. Thomas for the cars.

Re: Park Lock
Always a good idea and one that would sell, IMO.

Re: Park Lock
Heck yeah! That'd be great. Especially since mine won't fit in the garage with the Rally Car.

Re: Park Lock
Has anyone seen a picture of this lock or know when we might be able to get one. I've heard of people jumping your back yard wall when your at work to break a back window and then they go through your house, find the key to your toy in the garage and open the garage door and drive it away. I also heard of a guy that had his locked and chained in the garage and they used his own tools to break the chain and jimmy the ignition before opening the garage and stealing it. So anything I can do to slow them down would be nice. Also, most people think their house insurance will cover it, but it doesn't. You have to have seperate insurance for your toys.

Re: Park Lock
right now all i have is a crude version of this. It looks like there is enough response to develop the product further. once I have something that is marketable I"ll post Pictures.

Re: Park Lock
Make it marketable, I'm interested. I was just about to weld a link to the gear shift & chain it off somewhere.

Re: Park Lock
That's basically what I saw in St. Thomas, they had a a flat plate with a hole in it welded to the front edge of the gear shifter. And a bracket welded to the dash board with a hole in that too in front of the shifter. When you parked you put the shifter in first gear and run a pad lock through the two holes, not very attractive but it worked,
