Re: How do I reset the Maintance Light?
It's in the owners manual. You can also set it up to come on whenever you want.

Re: How do I reset the Maintance Light?
This may be something to think about, but I use my blinking wrench to time the delay I use after turning on the key and starting the engine. I have found that delay beneficial to allow my system to compensate for any changes since the last time I ran it. Sounds weird, but all my low idles, single cylinder issues, etc. have gone away,

Re: How do I reset the Maintance Light?
From the Owner's Manual: Programmable Service Interval When the hours of engine operation equal the programmed service interval setting, the wrench icon will flash for 5 seconds each time the engine is started. When this feature is enabled, it provides a convenient reminder to perform routine maintenance. The service interval is programmed at 50 hours at the factory. To enable or disable the service interval: 1. Enter the diagnostic mode. Toggle to the service interval screen. 2. Press and hold the mode switch for about seven (7) seconds, until either ON or OFF appears in the Rider Information Center, depending on your preference. To reset the service interval: 1. Enter the diagnostic mode. Toggle to the service interval screen. 2. Press and hold the mode switch for 2-3 seconds, until the wrench icon flashes. Release the switch. 3. Press and release the mode switch once to advance the setting by one hour. Press and hold the mode switch to advance the hours quickly. NOTE: If you scroll past the intended number, press and hold the switch until the hours cycle back to zero. 4. When the desired setting is displayed, wait until the wrench icon stops flashing. The new service interval is now programmed.

Re: How do I reset the Maintance Light?
Jeez...read the owners manual...didn't you do this when you bought the machine? When you have problems, its an excellent place to start. The response from Dave was excellent.
I've spent hours getting to know my machine's technology and how everthing works. What better way to make your machine better, than to know how it was designed to work. |

I read mine cover to cover two times, then I bought the factory service manual and read it to familiarize myself with the RZR he is probably the type that sets on the toilet talking on his cell phone not reading something ![]() Someone just spoon feed it to him he dont want to learn anything. |

Re: How do I reset the Maintance Light?
Diagnostic Mode The wrench icon will display when the gauge is in the diagnostic mode. To exit the diagnostic mode, turn the key switch off and on. Any movement of the tires will also cause the gauge to exit the diagnostic mode. To enter the diagnostics mode: 1. Turn the key switch off and wait 10 seconds. 2. Place the transmission in neutral. 3. Hold the mode switch and turn the key switch on. Release the switch as soon as the display is activated. 4. Use the mode switch to toggle through the diagnostic screens.

Re: How do I reset the Maintance Light?
Never a problem asking a question. You should be able to go to the Polaris dealer and get a replacement. It has a lot of good information in it. As someone noted, perhaps you can download it. But, it would be better to have a printed copy to carry with you.
