Howdy all i just bought me a 2010 RZR and may i say its everything i expected and more. Before i bought the RZR i actually bought a Big Muddy 700 its made by Hisun, 10 mins after i got it home i took it for a ride around my house. Within less then a mile i started hearing this grinding noise when it started to slow down, about 5 mins after that it started to sound like the transmittion was falling out. I took it to the dealer, who did have parts and service, but they had no idea what it was, so they told me they would fix it. I told them i wanted a brand new 1 not a test dummy, they said okay. When i got home i did some research and found out about the lower quality atv, so i went to my local powersports dealer and test drove theirs, wow what a difference the rzr was, even some1 like me who doesnt know alot about them can feel the difference without a thought at all. I will say the dealership for Big Muddy was very nice and did end up giving my money back, but as far as i see spend the extra 33% and get the bike that will last. As for as the RZR i ran the @#$@ out of it and not a dent, i even got it stuck in about 5 ft of mud pulled it out and ran like a champ. May i also mention the big muddy barely made it up my hill on the RZR i gotta let of the gas so i dont launch of it

You gotta be careful buying any off brand products especially chinese imitations. Congratulations on your new RZR !

its true, father in law has a Chariot... worst design ever... tons of power in the motor and it make alot of noise, but to hard to get it to the ground and the steering sucks. its had a 4 sd manual tranny with a foot clutch. and the shift cables when under the machine. as soon as you got high centered or in the mud, no more shifting....

stay away...

i am sorry you were one of the unfortunate ones but everything has a lemon once in a while i bought and new hisun utv and have over 100 miles and 50 hours on mine and love it more each and every time i use it. I tried to buy a polaris everytime i tried to buy they kept changing the final price and was not interested in selling me and additional options

100 miles and 50 hours? That's impressive. It shouldn't have any problems with an average speed of 2mph. You can think its a good machine all you want but if you owned something with any kind of quality you'd know it. The rzr isn't the best, but they're head and shoulders above these chinese things. Every single one ive seen has been broken for no reason and then can't be fixed. Cheap out if you want, I ride by myself some times and I barely trust my polaris much less an even cheaper imitation of it. Atleast I'll make it back to the truck without parts falling off (literally).

To each his own, the big muddy is a rhino clone. I love my rzr. Looking to pick up a Hisun this coming year. Make my own judgment, my rzr has not proven to be very reliable at this point. 1 ride, 2 failures, starter (before we even went riding) and one way bearing on the clutch side.

What year r955? That really blows, it seems some of these do have some stupid problems they shouldn't have. My computer randomly fried at 1000km but it was promptly fixed and has been bullet proof, I'm very impressed, this coming From a die hard Honda guy, I like my old hondas, they run forever. I've smashed it off stuff, landed sideways, all kinds of stuff in all terrains(not as hard as some people no doubt, but it gets rat bagged like a 21 year old would drive it), and yes I've worn out a tie rod end a few bushings, but nothings broke.

I'd sure be PISSED if mine was junk.
