Re: flashing wrench

its the service hour has clocked off ... you just reset it! Like the change oil icon in the new cars and truck!

Diagnostic Display Mode
The wrench icon will display when the gauge is in the diagnostic
mode. To exit the diagnostic mode, turn the key switch off and
on. Any movement of the tires will also cause the gauge to exit
the diagnostic mode.
To enter the diagnostics mode:
1. Turn the key switch off and wait 10 seconds.
2. Lock the parking brake.
3. Place the transmission in neutral.
4. Hold the mode button and turn the key switch to the “ON”
position. Release the mode button as soon as the display is
activated.
5. Use the mode button to toggle through the diagnostic

Re: flashing wrench

To reset the service interval:
1. Enter the diagnostic mode.
2. Toggle to the service interval screen.
3. Press and hold the mode button for 2-3 seconds, until the
wrench icon flashes. Release the button.
4. Press and release the mode button once to advance the
setting by one hour. Press and hold the mode button to
advance the hours quickly.
NOTE: If you scroll past the intended number, press
and hold the button until the hours cycle back to
zero.
5. When the desired setting is displayed, wait until the wrench
icon stops flashing. The new service interval is now
programmed.

cwspfx- my machine now has 60 hrs on it. I just read my manual tonight about what you posted. But, do you know if I now have to set the hours of my next service interval (for example, 100 hrs), or by resetting per the above will it automatically rollover and start alerting me 50 hrs later (which is the factory default). Thx.

There isn't a parking brake. That was a typo on Polaris' behalf. They must have cut and pasted that into the RZR manual possibly from a Ranger manual.

Re: flashing wrench

The first thing I do when I get a new toy is read the manual, front to back, side to side, inside out. Then, I download the repair manual online and glance through it looking for how things come apart (plastics, bed, etc), so that I can do it on the trail if need be. Then, for a while, the manual becomes reading material for the Throne Room, giving me the opportunity to read through it even further.

I do the same thing with a new vehicle. There are lots of things in those manuals you never think about until you, well, are forced to think about them.....

Re: flashing wrench

I've tried this step several times and still can't get it into the mode. I followed it step by step too. Only thing I can get it to do is turn key fast three times Code 26 comes up. Bike works great so I'm not going to worry about it.
