Re: Which aftermarket exhaust will give me the most power?

They check me every time I go up locally here in SoCal ...and I haven't been kicked out yet!

It is louder ...but not real bad ... it had some funny sounds when it was new ... they went away ... sounded like a goat at low RPM's ...all is good now!!

The Muzzy actually gained 2 HP in a dyno test completed by Hunterworks (Stock Machine). Now Holz did a test with the Muzzy after the install of their Big Bore Kit and they had a increase of 7 HP on dyno.

Re: Which aftermarket exhaust will give me the most power?

I picked up 2 tenths 0-50 with my gibson and it gets to top speed (rev limiter) in alot shorter distance. Some of these guys expect to much. 2hp on a 50hp engine is a 4% gain.....not to bad for exhaust only upgrade, but not great.

Most of the HP gains shown are for a standard RZR ... not a "S"

If anyone has really looked at their "S" head pipe....its actually a very nice pipe. I was expecting crappy welds limiting flow, but its very smooth. I guess about the only time a real gain will be found by changing exhaust is with other engine mods like the Holz big bore.

Re: Which aftermarket exhaust will give me the most power?

Iíve got an 08 generation 1 rzr. Looking at my buddyís 2010 rzrs exhaust system, seams it should perform much better. I think in my case upgrading to a 2010 rzrs system should benefit me without breaking my bank. My question is do I need to upgrade the fuel controller to accommodate the (S) exhaust, or is it just plug and play? Let me know guys!

Isn't there a web sight you can listen to the different exhausts. We have the Gibson and it sounds high pitched. Need a lower rumble sounding exhaust.

I purchased the Gibson for the sound and if I picked up any more HP, then that's a plus.

An ECU will give you a little ... and raise the rev limit which give you a bit more top end. Other then that ... break out the wallet!!! There are some clutch mods that will help also!!
