I forgot we also have rear view mirrors (no side mirrors)

after st. anthony we will hit west yellowstone and then up thru missoula and possibly poulson/flathead lake or somewhere else cool and since i'm towing my enclosed trailer behind my rv it sucks as we will have to rent a car at yellowstone or anywhere else we go

Re: Montana Street Legal

I dont know if the reciprocity works like that for all states...even if it did I bet you would still get pulled and harassed and probably still ticketed.

It does work that way D.O.T. say it does...I f you got plates you are good to go any-where in North America..and thats also covered under the NAFTA B.S..When I got pulled over by CHP all he ask was where is my plates and insurance. I did not have plates, but since he was friend of mine He said Leo get plates lol...other-wise he could have ceased my rzr...than I would have had to give-em some cash to get outa impound and be good to go..I think the only reason chp pulled me over was I passed him..He was going to slow

Re: Montana Street Legal

I just got off the phone with the Montana Hiway patrol he said that if you are licensed in another state and have a plate, mirror, horn, and at least a half wind sheild, you are good to, but they are not legal on the intrestate highways.
When you get to Yellowstone park check with the Park Ranger before you unload. I went to Yellowstone a few years ago took my quads and they told me I had to leave them on the truck.

Re: Montana Street Legal

I live in Montana just out of a little town called Philipsburg it is on the way from Yellowstne and Missoula MT. . We have a lot of off Hiway driving lots of old gold and silver mines we can ride for miles in the mountains.
There is a RV park in town, and we have the BIGEST LITTLE candie store in town but it is NOT open on SATURDAYS but it is open all other days. So let me know if you are interested in comming to Philipsburg.

Re: Montana Street Legal

You need to tell them about some of the lakes around there you can ride to. I can't wait till the snows gone to make the trip from 7gables to Pburg and back.

Re: Montana Street Legal

One issue to think about concerning your street legal Arizona plated Rzr.

Here in Arizona - The State does not require DOT tires as a requirement for getting your MC Plate.

Now - Try running the RzR on the street in another State with off-road tires ..........

Just something to think about .........

I'm also street legal in Arizona - And cannot run the streets in Oregon ......... No DOT tires and no full windshield with safety glass and no windshield wiper.

For what it's worth .............
